Adam + Jen | The Proposal

I received this email about a month ago:

Hello,
I have a question regarding a type of session. Right now I'm deployed to Kuwait on my second deployment with the Army. I'll be home on a 15 day leave from Nov 27 - Dec 11.

During that time I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend. I plan
on doing it at the Ramkota in the big convention center. That's where
we met at her sisters wedding while we were both in the wedding party.

I'd like to set up a couple hundred candles in the shape of a heart.
I'd like to bring her in there blind folded and propose to her in the
middle of the heart. I'd like you to photograph this while it
happens, and maybe do a few more shots afterwards.

I know this is probably an odd request, but when I saw your website I
knew I had to ask. Your work is beautiful and this is a moment I want
us to remember all our lives.

Thank you for your time. I really appreciate it.

Payten | Lifestyle Session

Payten and her family were in town visiting relatives for Thanksgiving and decided that some pictures of Payten would be nice. So via coming across my website, they gave me a call. :)

Payten and I were a perfect match. She loves being outdoors and I love taking photographs outdoors, like two peas in a pod. :)

Emi is the cutest little thing, if I didn't have my camera in my hands I would have scooped her up and I'm not sure that I would have let go. ;)

Myranda and Eric had a beautiful late fall wedding, seriously the weather that day was nicer then all of October.

I am so happy for these two and I know they will have some exciting adventures on their journey together...first starting with Myranda's big move from city girl to country girl. I have no doubt she'll be able to pull off bib overalls with nothing less then complete style. ; )

Tony + Caitlin | E-session | Aberdeen, SD

Wow, I've been busy with E-sessions lately, and I just can't say enough how much I really enjoy these sessions. : )

I really like getting know the couple and see how they warm up in front of the camera, at first everyone is a little unsure of what to do, but by the end everyone transgresses to being completely comfortable with a camera (of my size) following their every move. ;)

Check out Caitlin and Tony's E-session below. These two are so sweet together and it was fun to see how Tony would try to get Caitlin to laugh.

Josh + Britney | E-session | Sioux Falls, SD

I love shooting in new locations, it's exciting, challenging, and well just plain fun. ; ) Sioux Falls is full of great places to shoot (having shot there only a handful of times), I feel like a kid in a candy store when there.

Josh & Britney were great fun, their session has a variety of "looks", urban, country, woodsy and we stayed within the city limits the whole time (basically only 2 place's).

Although we were a bit frozen when we were done, I'd defiantly say it was worth a touch of frost bite (jk, no one got frost bite).
