Ryan + Amanda | The Wedding

Ryan, Amanda and their wedding party were so fun and great to work with. They had such a beautiful wedding and I loved photographing it for them.

Even with all the fun and excitement the day wasn't exactly how they had imagined it.

The day before their wedding Amanda's mom was having trouble breathing, so she went to the doctor only to be told she would not be attending her daughters wedding the next day. At 10pm that night she had to have emergency surgery due to a number of blood clots in her lungs (very, very scary), the surgery went well, but their was still absolutely no way she was going to be able to be at the wedding, I imagine that would have one of the hardest things to accept as a mother, but she had no choice.
Due to technology, hospital staff and a friends web cam she was able to see some of the reception. :)

I do believe Amanda was under stick orders from her mom to have the most beautiful and happy wedding day she could, and I know Amanda did her best, but her mom's recovery was very heavy on hers and every one's mind. After the ceremony the wedding party made a special trip to the hospital.

All I can say is what beautiful families and the amount of love that day was overwhelming.
